Swiftly We're Turning |
||
We sing how we are
swiftly turning life's sacred pages. This is impressed upon us as we look
at our grandchildren, their spiritual and physical growth, seeing them
branch out into their fields of honorable pursuit. Time has flown by since
they were little tots. You wish you could recall some of those blessed
days.
But how proud and happy you are to see them grow to maturity, usefulness in the Lord's kingdom, gaining knowledge and conviction. It makes you realize the meaning if life. "Time flies," people say. Actually it always goes the same rate, but sometimes it seems it goes faster than other times. It makes you want to consider what you do and say with greater care and "redeem the time." End of life and judgment looms ahead. Our days are "swifter than a post," (Job 9: 25). Learn what this means. |
