They Keep Trying in Vain |
||
Those who seek to
justify instrumental music never give up trying to find something to
sustain them, but they never do. Every effort they have made has met
defeat because there is no divine authority for their use.
Some have even gone to the position of denying there is authority for congregational singing. Such foolishness is obvious to Bible students. How that helps support instruments escapes me. But what if it was proved there is no authority for congregational singing. Does that prove instruments are authorized? All that you would have are two kinds of music, neither of which would be authorized. It is so much easier to simply accept the truth of God and be content therewith than keep trying to find some way to get around what is so plain and obvious. We'll just keep singing praises to God as He teaches and those who want to have their instruments can play like it's OK. |
