They May Be Brilliant |

| With all the
criticism about those holding public office you might think they are all
"nuts." In fact, that may be more true than false. But on the
other hand, they are smart enough to know that people are stupid and dumb
and will even vote for things that lean toward destruction rather than
preservation. So what do they do? They see who can throw the most dirt,
lie the loudest without shame, promise everybody everything, and they are
smart enough to know that most voters, who probably have the comprehension
of a dead turtle, will come their way. Their word really means nothing
because they are so unreliable.
What a difference between them and our Lord who is faithful in everything. We are so blessed to be able to put our confidence in the Lord and not rely on self-serving politicians who play the voter for a stupid sucker; and he is usually right about that. My vote is for God's kingdom. |
