Think You Can Hide?

Down through the ages there have those deluded souls who have thought they could sin and someway deceive God and get away with it. It may appear for a while they are doing that but the day of reckoning will come and then we shall see how well they hid their iniquity.

Revelation 18 tells us of the coming fall of "Babylon" which was the habitation of devil, every foul spirit and cage of unclean and hateful birds. God's people were to separate themselves from such an influence. We are told why. "For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities" (Rev. 18:5). Some might think the Lord does not know about them and their lives but how wrong they are.

But  it is good that God knows everything about us. He knows when we are sincerely trying to do His will in spite of our failings at times. He knows our every need and provides. He hears and answers our prayers. He blesses and blesses again. We cannot hide from God. When you give it the serious thought that idea conveys, you can be thankful we cannot hide.
