Three Eternal Principles

Generally people like things they can check for themselves. The best knowledge is that which is gained by checking on things yourself. I have found there are at least three principles in God's dealings with man that are found in every age.

There is God's grace, His unmerited favor toward man, something not earned by man but granted to man because of God's love for man.

There is man's faith by which he gains the benefit of God's grace. It is his trust, confidence, belief and recognized dependence on God.

There is man's obedience by which his faith is made perfect or whole and complete, and without which his faith benefits him nothing.
