Today is the Lord's Day |

| Everyday should be
lived as if it belonged to the Lord because it does. But Sunday is special
because we are taught to assemble with our brethren for worship. It is a
day toward which good and faithful brethren look with anticipation and
joy. What a privilege to praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Sadly, many will misuse this to to satisfy their selfish and worldly desires. They have no respect for God and will make no effort to worship Him. But they are the losers. Christians know their heavenly Father and diligently seek to imitate His Son, follow His teachings, strive to become more and more like Jesus and show every manner on this day that it is a day when we come together and God is worshipped. How will you use it? |
