Victory to the Faithful |
||
In spite of what
some say, I contend the Book of Revelation is a very difficult book to
understand because it is heavily symbolic and figurative. But the major
message can be grasped.
Some may say it is over-simplification but the theme of Revelation is that there is victory ahead. While there are numerous points of difference among Bible students pertaining to the particulars of the book which should make us cautious about being dogmatic over its specific reference, it still remains relevant to us in that it teaches a primary message to us. In spite of the symbolism and obscurity of much of it, we can understand that there is eventual spiritual victory to those who come to Christ and remain faithful to Him. This we can know and in this we can rejoice. |
