The Way is Simple |

| For those who have
chosen to defy God and live an ungodly life style, but desire to be in
favor with God again, the way throughout the history of man has been, in
principle, the same. In Jeremiah's day the people of Judah were a nation
of abomination. Yet God told them, "If thou wilt return, O Israel,
saith the Lord, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine
abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove" (Jeremiah
4: 1). Of course, we know they ignored Him.
Too many want God to smile on them even as they continue their wickedness. This seems to be the major characteristic of so many in our society. Until the nation ceases its evil and puts God in first place, where is the hope for our descendants? I know what God has done to nations of the Bible and since who scoffed at Him. But maybe we shall be the first exception to His rule and can get away with it. What do you think? |
