We Love PROVERBS

Nearly all Bible readers love to meditate over the wise sayings of the book of PROVERBS. There is, of course, such a thing as the wisdom of the world and the wisdom of God. Fortunately, we can know the wisdom of God to the extent He has revealed it by staying in the Bible. Proverbs just overruns with teaching we all need to apply.

For instance, Proverbs 10:12, "Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins." We see this demonstrated almost every day. There be those who harbor hatred for somebody and they keep stirring up anything they can, as long as they can, trying their best to get others to hate them as much as they do. Some never seem to consider looking for the best and giving the one they hate benefit of their own explanations. They have drawn their conclusions, regardless of skewed, and nothing will turn their hatred away.

We can thank God for the warning about such people and try to do whatever we can to keep from ever being like that.
