What Some Think of It |
||
Paul preached Christ
and Him crucified. Some considered the gospel a stumbling block and
foolishness. Yet, the preaching of the cross was the revelation of the
power of God and the wisdom of God by which God offers to save man. It
seems some had and some have a rather perverted and distorted view of the
saving message of Christ.
At the same time people need to realize that the message and Person they so flippantly discard will be standard and their Judge the last day (John 12:48). Is it not a mark of foolishness to discard the truth of God in favor of the shifting, nebulous, unstable, changing so-called "wisdom" of men? |
