Who Can Question God? |
||
With our limited
understanding we do not always know how or why things happen. Especially
are we frustrated when hardship occurs to seemingly innocent people. Men
have been plagued with this problem throughout time and answers are not
easily found.
But we err to question the righteousness of God as if He makes all things happen. He allows many things He does not approve. He uses man's decisions, even his mistakes, to accomplish His purposes but does not cause them. We dare not assume God is unjust because bad things happen. Such is the course of life. "Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?" (Rom. 9: 20). We best recognize our limitations and give God credit for knowing. God measures man but not the other way around. |
