Who Told the Truth? |

| God told Adam and
Eve that the day they ate the forbidden fruit they would die. The Devil
said they would not. Who told the truth?
Death means separation. When Adam and Eve violated God's will they were separated from God. They died spiritually. Also, they began to die physically. Death now dominates the human scene because of sin. Everybody must die (Hebrews 9: 27). So who told the truth? Of course, God did. It makes you wonder why anybody will listen to the Devil's lies (he is the father of them, John 8: 44) rather than the saving truth of God. |
