Who Was She? |
||
She must not have
been very important. She was not of some "royal" family or a
female dignitary. Nothing is said about her startling accomplishments.
Even her name is not mentioned. Surely, a lowly insignificant person.
Or was she most important, essential and vital to spiritual learning even for us today? I think she was exceptionally grand. She was just a little captive maid who revealed information to Naaman how he could be healed of leprosy. Just think of the many lessons of truth we learn from the 2 Kings five account. Not any of it would have ever occurred had it not been for this "unimportant" person. Is there really any such thing as an "unimportant" person? The Lord does not look on us that way (Matthew 16: 26). He even died that we might live. |
