Would David Have a Cabinet? |
||
An interesting
statement of intentions was made by David in Psalm 101:7. As king he would
need people to serve under him and with him. But not just anybody would
qualify. Some would be disqualified because of their conduct. If David was
a leader in America today could he even put together a cabinet of
government officials at all?
David said, "He that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight." The man posing as president today would never be able to select a cabinet or underlings. He has a hard time finding people in his party that have even paid their taxes. Lying seems to have become the trademark of politicians and the entire nation suffers because of it. Wonder why people had rather lie than tell the truth? Today's alleged "president" could not even associate with himself under David's rules. |
