You Cannot Shake It

When problems arise we sometimes solve them by simply saying, "Shake it off." But there are things we cannot "shake off." They abide with you. One of these is your influence. When we enter the world we begin to influence those around us and that never ceases.

We influence other people and other people influence us. It is a two-way street. This is why we must be careful what we do, where we go, what we say, as well as what we allow ourselves to hear, what we will be willing to see, with whom we make our daily associations. Our conduct, appearance, speech, actions, attitudes, everything has an influence whether it be for good or evil. The same is the influence of others upon us.

So life must be lived with care and attentiveness to what we display in this world. We shall give account to account regarding our influence.
